My grandmother went into the hospital today and my father is taking care of her, but he was just diagnosed with cancer. Now we’re thinking about putting them both in a retirement home. In addition, my wife has lupus and heart problems. She has to go to a specialist at least 10 times a month on average and she takes a $5,000 a month prescription. Because she has had so much treatment, we are about to lose our insurance because we have reached our lifetime maximum of $2 million.
