I am from Pueblo in the southern part of the state. A big concern growing up in Pueblo is water. Water is a big concern all over the West, but in Pueblo a lot of the town’s water has been taken away and redirected up north. I think the farmers downstream are feeling that, too. I think that there needs to be some sort of fair solution for all parties involved, not just the big northern counties. I don’t know what the solution is. I think a proper price for when you sell water rights, give a fair price for that. You will be feeling that for the rest of your life if you sell your water rights.
