UDALL ANNOUNCES STATEWIDE "STANDING UP FOR COLORADO" TOUR STARTING TUESDAY
Tour Officially Kicks Off Udall's Senate Campaign
Coming off an exciting and enthusiastic official nomination at last weekend's Democratic State Assembly, U.S. Senate candidate Mark Udall will kick off his campaign with a four-day, statewide "Standing Up for Colorado" tour next week. The sixteen-city tour will highlight Udall's work for Colorado families in every part of the state and the Colorado traditions of hard work and innovation that he will bring to getting the country back on track in the U.S. Senate.
The Standing Up for Colorado tour will kick off Tuesday morning from Colorado Springs, followed by first-day stops in Gunnison, Grand Junction, Craig, and Denver. The tour will continue Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, throughout Colorado.
"Standing up for Colorado will be my job in the U.S. Senate, and that's why I am kicking off this campaign by talking to voters across the state," said Congressman Udall. "Coloradans know that it's going to take hard work and real leadership to get our country back on track and moving forward again. From making Colorado a leader in the new energy economy, to fixing our broken health care system, to making our country safer with a stronger, smarter national security policy, I am ready to go to work with people in every part of this state to get things right."
