 UDALL CAMPAIGN TO HOLD 100th "IDEA RAISER" IN DENVER WEDNESDAY

Udall Will Attend, Says IdeaRaisers Are "About Putting Colorado First" in Senate Campaign

DENVER – Congressman Mark Udall’s U.S. Senate campaign will mark a major milestone tomorrow, holding its 100th “IdeaRaiser” gathering of the campaign.  Congressman Udall will attend the gathering, hear from Coloradans who have come to share their ideas, and discuss how he’ll get results for Colorado in the U.S. Senate. 

Udall launched the IdeaRaiser program in September of last year as an unprecedented grassroots effort to engage in conversations around the state, tapping into the experiences and ideas of everyday Coloradans on the state’s most pressing issues. Since then, more than 1,400 Coloradans have personally submitted their stories and ideas at IdeaRaiser gatherings in every part of Colorado.

"I began the IdeaRaiser program because Coloradans deserve a new U.S. Senator who represents their ideas and concerns, works on their side, and puts Colorado common sense first," said Congressman Udall. "I have made that commitment in this campaign, and I'm proud that we’ve already come so far in honoring it. I am grateful to the hundreds of Coloradans who have shared their time, their energy, and their stories in our first one-hundred IdeaRaisers.

"I look forward to a hundred more in the coming months, so that this campaign can truly continue to be about putting Colorado first."
