I'm thrilled to see Mark Udall running for Senate. He's a true environmental champion.
We were proud to have our group photo with Mark in our local paper, along with a picture of Les Renfrow, one of the people who placed Mark's name in nomination. Things are getting off to a great start here!
Welcome to the Disability Rights blog. According to the US Census Bureau about 20% of the U.S. population self identified themselves as a person with a disability. A disability, as defined by the government, is a condition that limits one's ability to perform one or more activities of daily living (ADL's). That includes such activities as walking, talking, hearing, thinking, etc. Those of us with disabilities are the most under represented minority in the nation. It is my goal to bring awareness to this fact into the Democratic Party. I welcome hearing your story and efforts you are making to resolve this disparity.

LOCATION: Manhattan Middle School, 290 Manhattan Drive
TIME: 8:30 am Be there Join Mark Udall on his Standing Up for Colorado tour at 15 locations around the state. Come see the next U.S. Senator from Colorado at a location near you!
Click here for tour locations, maps, and times. The recent pro-Schaffer Coloradans for Economic Growth ad—featuring a brightly-colored cartoon Toyota Prius, butterflies, and the words "Thanks Bob" hovering happily in the background—so dramatically deviates from Schaffer's record that the ad can almost be taken as a far-left spoof of the ex-congressman's record, rather than being taken seriously by prospective voters. Help us popularize this group by inviting your friends. On the Boulder County group page there's a button that says "Invite Friends" you can use this feature to invite other Boulderites who want to help turn Colorado Blue.
It's coming soon! We're rapidly finalizing plans and are expecting to have every location and time determined and all the arrangements made over the next couple of days. Find a stop near you, and don't forget to RSVP so that we can inform you of any late-breaking changes to times or locations.
I'd vote for Mark, because I consider him the more qualified candidate of the two.
Unfortunately Mark runs as a Democrat. As such he would help keeping truly unqualified and horrible Senators such as Harry Reid in power. That is the reason why I will vote for the other candidate. It's a shame. Gerd Hello! I just want to remind everyone that there will be a FOOD DRIVE Saturday at the CO State Convention/Assembly. We are asking that all delegates, alternates and volunteers please bring (1) non-perishable food item - drop off at the Obama Food Drive table outside from 7am-9:30am. Thanks! Shara Johnson Jeffco4Obama The bus is full!
Use this thread to share rides. If you have room in your car, post a comment. If you need a ride, post a comment! I'm taking the bus down to the World Arena for the State Democratic Covention. I'm an alternate, but it sounds like nearly everyone will be seated. I sure hope so, otherwise I'm stuck in CSprings without a car all day.
We'll be posting the details a little later, but save the dates and start crossing your fingers for sunny weather. Come out and meet Mark at locations around the state!
Bob Schaffer, apparently confused on which state he is looking to represent, recently created (and quickly took down) an ad in which he claims that "Colorado is (his) life" while standing in front of what is clearly Mt. McKinley. The ad is tons of fun with large letters and pop up pictures of him proposing to his wife on top of Pikes Peak (Mt. McKinley). This is kind of like looking to represent Washington State and having a picture of the Statue of Liberty instead of the Space Needle. The video can be found here.
The Udall campaign has arranged to charter a bio-diesel powered bus from Denver to Colorado Springs for the state convention this Saturday!
The bus will leave our office in the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Denver at 6:30 on Saturday morning and will leave Colorado Springs at 5:00 p.m. heading back to Denver. Tickets are $30 each and they are going fast. So hurry and get your tickets online! Remember: There are only 2,500 parking spaces at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, but 3-4 times as many people coming. Save yourself the traffic stress, the gas, help the environment and reduce our carbon footprint, and save yourself the $5 parking fee by taking our bio-diesel bus instead. Someone once wrote something along the lines that we over estimate what we can do in a year, and under estimate what we can do in 3.
So how about 30? Today, the Udall campaign released the following statement: Read More » Posts By Month
